🌍 Amazon to Support Ten Global Generative AI Startups

Amazon recently launched a 10-week accelerator program focusing on generative artificial intelligence. The program is available to startups worldwide and offers participants access to AI models, tools, and machine learning stack optimization. In addition, startups can receive up to $300,000 in AWS credits and custom go-to-market advice.

Although the program is open to all startups, those with a minimum viable product, customer traction, and already building on AWS will benefit most. The program aims to invest and innovate across the three layers of the generative AI stack to make the technology available to customers and developers.

📈 Sensetime’s Rumored ChatGPT Competitor Sends Stock Shooting

SenseTime Group Inc. experienced a notable increase in its stock value, following speculation among investors that the AI company is planning to create a ChatGPT rival.

SenseTime is expected to launch a large-scale AI model related to AI-generated content at a media event on April 10th. However, the company is currently facing sanctions from the US Treasury and Commerce Department, which may hinder its ability to access capital and components necessary for developing large-scale AI models.

In the meantime, other Chinese companies, such as Baidu Inc. have already introduced their AI offerings, including Ernie Bot, and are integrating AI into their products.
